im lookin to porting my intake manifold because imma be doin a braketuck and itll just make it easier. Talked to a guy who said it can make somewhere around 20hp but that seems a little high for just porting a manifold. Anybody have there intake manis ported with some experience?

Do some searching, people have posted results in the past.
You won't see over 3-8 whp in most cases. The results vary from application to application....

its a great mod though you will gain a little hp everywhere and hold hp longer in the uppper rpms without changing the power band. I have a endyn Hand ported 1st gen skunk2.

Typically people get there manifolds ported as one of the last mods, because they are trying to extract every last bit of power.
This can cost as little as $200 to just polish up the runners and as much as $500 to cut open and completely reshape the runners.
You will not see 20whp with just a pnp'd manifold, you may see between 5-10 peak.
You do know the Blox is a copy of the Skunk2 1st gen, that manifold did not have the ideal runner angle to your head.
A Performer X or even a Skunk2 Pro might yield you similar gains as a Pnp'd Blox.

I did have my GSR manifold runners PnP'd a bit.

Some Pics

The gains with manifold change on stock GSR cams.
Most of the gains came in the mid range. Made the car really fun.
Tuned on a Hondata S300 in a P72 ECU with IAB relay.

I am waiting on my New V2 GSR manifold. Flows over 300cfm and still has IAB.

i thought the blox was a copy of the skunk2 2nd gen design hmm. only reason i dont want a PX is because you dont have the throttle bracket and it just seems like more hassle imo. I was removing it to make room for a brakeline tuck if needed. Im going for boost not an all motor setup figured id do this before turboing. And that manifold looks awesome dude, who did it?
