Porting a GSR Intake manifold?
OK, I've been doing research on the topic of intake manifolds. So, instead of getting the Skunk2 has anyone ported their GSR mani and throttlebody? Would this not maintain more lowend? I know Ericks racing had a ported GSR mani on their 10sec. racecar, but this is for a daily driver.
Opinions? Thoughts? Experience?
TIA

Someone mentioned that if you extrude hone the intake, you'll need new plates to shut the secondaries off because of the increase in diameter of the intake runners.
send it to alaniz technologies and they are the ones that do ericks racings intake. if extrude hone just take out the section with the butterflies and send them the rest.
Too much hassle. I say just get the Skunk2 Intake Manifold...
You lose a little bit of low end, but make a good amount of power in the mid/top end (which counts the most in a race).

if a drag car that sounds good but our cars already are torque deficient. also not one skunk 2 manifold equiped car is faster than erick aguilars. n/a anyways. why not have decent drivability and good power production.
