building gsr block
ok, im a little concerning on my future setup. anybody have good advise
b18c1 block -setup for NA
ls crank -micro-polished and balance maybe knife edge.
ls rods - arp rod bolts, shot peened
aftermarkert piston not sure whats best
concerning on the bore.
i want 84mm, is it safe using stock sleeve or should i get aftermarket sleeve.
will the valves and pistons clearing be ok to run buddy club iv. with gsr head.
this setup should be a little more than 2.0l right.

Re: building gsr block (trucdoken)
if you want 84mm you have to spend at least 750 to get the block sleeved.
best bet is to go 82mm and find some oversized P30's, JDM ITRs, or USDM ITRs

Re: building gsr block (trucdoken)
go aftermarket ls internals. it'll be like a reliable ls/vtec because the gsr block has oil squirters plus my friend has this setup in a 92 hatch w/ a bolt on turbo and he kill corvette's and rx-7 twin turbo's like nuthin the sleeving and machining was done by benson's.
