Re: All motor Nissan setup and numbers
Statton, I know there are differences between just overall flow capabilities and velocity. There is just too many variables and not enough people to test them out. However looking at domestic heads it seems like the larger the port and the higher the CFM of the head the more power it makes. That combined with combustion chamber CC and so on.
So i highly doubt daxx's head is hurting his power at all. With the extra flow capabilites I can only see how it would benifit a 2.4L VE. Now he just needs an intake manifold that evenly matches the heads flow capabilites. Cuz we all know that stock intake manifold and throttle body can not keep up with that head thats on there. Not to mention the n1 cams although they have always done very well being a factory nissan cam. I think the Kelfords would really open it up and again take advantage of the head.
I dont know what he is up to but i hope he gets back on the dyno soon with a new mani, throttle body, and kelfords. Really want to see what that head can put down n/a. And hopefully he gets out there and runs the car down the strip.

Re: All motor Nissan setup and numbers
I'm not giving up at all, like I said its all going into a different shell so right now my focus is getting that done instead of racing. I'll be back full force next spring or maybe even this fall if I kick it into overdrive, with a better setup
