tranny prob's
a recent clutch change went wrong!!!! my exedy had given up on me so i got an rps 6 puc & pressure plate then discovered they would'nt mate up to the exedy flywheel so got a cyn-r-g one,
now it feels like a slap when i'm downshifting at low revs 4>3 3>2
i'm presuming the mech took the car for a test flight & f*ck'd the release bearing. any body any idea's?

You still have to let it break in. It is still fresh so it slap and feel like the dash is going to fall apart. Unless he did not align with the clutch tool and torque it down to fac specs. Give it time to break in.

yeah cyn-r-g f/w seems fine check out http://www.tuboclutch.com
suprised you hav'nt heard of it as its from your side of the pond,
i believe the problem to be bad fitting & he obviously scalded the car before giving it back, i ordered release bearing & driveshaft seal(€65) they'll be in tommorow so fingers crossed
thanks for the help lads

That has nothing to do with it - if you dont align the clutch disc, you wont be able to put the trans back on.
