Default JDM ITR NOT STARTING!

Hi,
I wanted to know if anybody could help.
I need to get my car running.

The starter runs.
The fuel pump runs.
Thier is a spark.

but the car doesn't fire up. What else should i check on the car, I think the car had a clifford alarm and a vtec controller on it but the owner removed this, i have had a look at the wiring and it is all connected back up.

If anyone could tell me what else i should check?

Pull off your valve cover and see if the cams/crank are in time.

How would i check if the cams/crank are in time? I have checked for a spark and the fuel is flowing.

What do you mean by replacing the ignition, do you mean ignition switch? or igniter or someting else?

The spark plugs do spark

When was the last time it ran? What have you done since then?

Do the spark plugs smell like gas after trying to start it?

I just pictured you trying to smell your spark plugs and it made me laugh hysterically.

DO what chris said. Does the engine try to fire or show any signs that it might be about to or does it just turn over with no combustion noises whatsoever?

Did I have a cigarette hanging out of the corner of my mouth?

Hi i bought the car with front end damage, the last owner has also removed an alarm and vtec controller from the vehicle.

The engine turns over.
Thier is a spark at the spark plugs.
The fuel pump works.

The plugs get covered in fuel, but there are no signs of any combustion/firing.

What things should i check first?
Thanks
Harry

Doh. Either one of those could be causing the problem. Did it ever work while you had it?

What size are the fuel injectors, are they OEM or maybe RC 330's?

Do you have an aftermarket FPR?

I'm wondering if it's way too rich.

Yea the Vtec controller could be a major factor if it had any tuning capabilites. Also, post every mod you have and when the last time it was running so we know a bit more.

Hi, i was told by the owner that it has spoon injectors and a spoon drop in filter.
I was thinking that it may require the vtec controller to run it?
What do you think?
The car doesn't seem to fire at all.

THIS IS THE DIAGRAM THAT I USED:

HERE IS THE DIAGRAM AFTER I CHECKED THE WIRING:

How do i put this wiring back to standard or should i get the vtec controller from the last owner?
