HOw do I check for spark on DIS ignitions? The car is a 1992 acura legend with teh 3.2L engine....

I know how to check spark on our regular hondas with distributors, but not the ones without...

I checked three cylinders the same way I would a regular civic motor and there was no spark...I know that if it goes out, not all 6 coils will go out at that same time will they?

 

Check the igniter.

 

the car still cranks, so I ruled that out....

The car will still crank if the igniter is bad! You better look into that, is there fuel also,
does the MIL light come on when you put the key on?

 

there is no fuel, but there was no park either...I'm gonna test the fuel pump and relay tommorow night...

but I need to know how to check for spark...

where would the igniter be in a DIS ignition system?
