Default zex installation

ok well i installe dmy kit, and got my bottle filled, and now when i turn it on it will either go *puder puder puder* like its getting no fuel or too much nitrous.

then when i switch it off and turn it back on, it is fine and doesnt do anything untill i give it the slightest bit of gas then it just sprayes a lot, and my motor starts to sound like its dying from not geting any fuel.

i checked my lines, and tried reseting the management system, but i cant get it to back to the *red* glow like when u first install it.

help please.

ugh.... zex.

Try checking your electrical connections to make sure they are spliced into the correct wire on the car's harness. If i'm not mistaken, the Zex kit works of vacumm and TPS. So double check those.

Most likely you have a vacumm issue.

Have you checked for a vacume leak for the fpr hose. If that isn't tightened down that can cause a rough idle and maybe cause it to idle rough. Check all wiring again and make sure its to the right wire(and sensor). If that doesn't work call 1-888-817-1008 for zex's product support. good luck

Personally I don't think you're the kind of person who should be using nitrous. Judging from your post.

If the system is activating when you're going tapping on the gas. Then the tps part is not reading right. Redo it to have it only activate at wot. You should have left the car off and tested to see if the box was activating correctly before you operated the car.

To reset the box. Just flip the activation switch and push in the button and release. This should put the light back to red.
