ZEX
I bough a used ZEX kit, but it had no instructions.
It’s a dry kit rated at 35-75 shot.
What jets should I use to max it (75shots).
I also noticed that there’s a place for a jet where the fuel psi regulator connects, what goes there?
I tried looking at ZEX website, but had no luck, my computer’s not displaying that page.

Re: ZEX (d16rice)
I had a Dry Zex kit for my D16y7 pretty much comes down to this, if you haven't added any fuel supply upgrades then 55 is great, go in there with a good FPR bump it up a bit then 75 shot will work out. Don't spray longer than 8 seconds or you will be rebuilding that motor in no time. a good 14 pound bottle should last you about 3 mins that's 180 seconds divide by 8 equals 22 and half runs. only thing I had wired up was the nitrous in then a line to the intake. wires for power then wire for TPS sensor should be it, It's been a while I sold my nitrous kit for a LS motor. You will avg about $30 per bottle refill. if your burning up a good bottle a week might want to get turbo kit save some money in the long run. Good to have a Air Fuel Ratio gauge to watch if you start running lean. change your oil often and try to get hold of some colder running spark plugs and RETARD YOUR TIMING. by the way here is the pdf file for installation.

Happy Spraying and don't forget to fill up on premium!!

Re: ZEX (freezerburnv2)
another thing DO NOT GET platinum spark plugs, avoid them all the way! almost forgot that those things can be trouble. Hope I didn't forget anything. Nitrous is addicting if your burning a whole bottle in a weekend your burning too much.

Re: ZEX (freezerburnv2)
Thanks for the help and the web page, but do you have the Tune-up sheet for the kit.
The instructions on the web-page don’t tell me what jets go where and what the power ratings are.
Some of the things I altered on my engine to accommodate the N2O kit are,
Bigger injectors
Adjustable fuel PSI regulator
MSD 6A ignition (iridium IX spark plugs)
And a few other minor changes.

Re: (DaX)
Well, mines a mini-me, D16Y7 block and Y8 head
The injectors are off of Y8 (they're better flowing), but I'm also using P2P ecu, instead of P2E, so I should be fine.
As for the fuel psi regulator, it has a gauge on it, and is currently set on stock pressure. I also have an Air/Fuel ratio gage, so I can tune it if need be.

You'll probably be ok with the Y8 injectors, since you're using an appropriate ECU. You won't be able to tune anything with your AFR gauge...assiming you're using a stock narrowband sensor and the gauge does not give actual AFR values.

Re: (DaX)
I meant I could use the fuel PSI gauge and A/F ratio gauge as reference and tune the motor using the adjustable fuel PSI regulator and adjustable cam-gear.

Re: (wantboost)
It's a sheet that comes with a kit and tells you waht jects go where and what hp gains can be expected with a certain setup.
