valve adjustment problem????
ok adjusted my valves to spec, (97' b18c1) .006 on intake, .007 on exhaust was a little tight and missing a little so i put them at .007 and .008... Anyways problem lies in the idle... when i start it the idle is so rough! Could it be that they are still to tight? Any help is appreciated.
Were the valves adjusted when the car was cold? Also, it depends on your technique, how much lag on the feeler gauge is a hard thing to teach and learn. Eveyone will perform a valve adjustment a little differently because everyones concept of slight grag on a feeler gauge is different.
