Default Valve Adjustment Making Car Rich at Idle?

well i just did a valve adjustment the other day, and if i remember right, the car seems to idle a bit richer now, wide band is around 11s at idle, and when i drive and get the car hot, its goes back to around 13s-15s where it usually is, just wondering is it possible for a valve adjustment to do that? im think some valves are tighter than others, the feeler gauge is a bit hard to slip between the rocker and lobe, im still trying to get the concept of the slight drag, do i want a easy in and out slip in drag, or something thats a bit hard to slip in but yet still goes in and out. Thinking about just redoing it tomorrow, or should i just leave it alone?

i've had the AFR's on my engine change after doing a valve adjustment...twice now actually.
But not that dramatic of a change.
I'm talking like .3-.6 AFR...not down into the 11's.
Maybe you need to adjust your colder ECT compensation values a little bit so its not so rich when its cold.
I'd definately make sure all of the valves are adjusted the same. You don't want it hard for the feeler gauge to slide through, but you do want some resistance.

so i want somewat of a drag some resistance, but nothing to crazy right? a slight feeling to it? but not big enough for the .008 go to go in correct? dman i just got done driving the car, should i wait till the next day to redo them? or would it be alright if left the car sit for a couple of hours? i have seen the a/f be at like 11.1 when i come to a stop, im like wtf, its never done that before, but if i driving for a lil while staying constant, and come to a stop, its stays around 13-high 14s maybe 15s, seems just when the car is still a cold, but i havent seen it go that low before.

I make my valves a little on the loose side .008 intake and .010 exhaust.

i think it seems to be ok now, i redid the valves, so were tight and some where still loose where i could put the next size up feeler gauge in.

one other question, when u hold the rpm up does the vacc STAY UP as well, cause when i hold a rpm, vacc goes up, but then drops back down to 20, or is it just under a load it holds vacc, i forget.

well i guess its not ok, lol i might have to take it to the tuner and just have him redo the part throttle tune or just readjust the cold start fuel values, either that just let it be, lol
