ok today i did a valve adjustment on my poormans r and now its idling really low almost ready to die down. and i also changed the plugs gap them at 36 the first time thinking that was my problem then i regapped them to .38-.39 hoping that would fix the problem but it didn't. now i'm thinking that when i did the valve adjustment i made all the valves to tight and thats whats causing my bad idle. becuase usaully i would have my friend help but i did it by my self .06 intake and .07 exhaust on ctr cams
Did you adjust each cylinder one at a time while it was at TDC? and when you adjusted it w/ the feeler guage which side did you slide the feeler into? from the middle or from the valve side?

and yes i did it on tdc for each cylinder and in the correct firing order 1-3-4-2 w/ a snapon valve adjustment tool and a feeler guage but my question is if u over tighten them will they give u a rough idle
