i have ef sedan and today i was read an old honda tech mag from 2005. it was an article with an ek and they were using 98 jdm teg trailing arms with prelude 11 inch rotors and acura legend calipers. i was wondering if i could use usdm trailing arms possibly DA ones and do this swap

I'm STILL not sure what you're trying to do here. do you want 11'' rotors on your DA or DC more info is needed

in the article they used jdm (idk the difference between jdm&usdm) trailing arms from a 1998 teg, forth gen *vtec (it said vtec idk if it matters) prelude 11 inch rotors with acura legend calipers on and Ek chassis. i have an Ef chassis but * I AM WONDERING IF I CAN DO THIS ON MY EF*

there's no difference unless it's a type r. but if you're talking about 11 inch rotors and legend calipers, those go on the front and have nothing to do with trailing arms.

Stop with the magazine quotes. They are only confusing everyone since you don't have links etc etc etc

What are you trying to install? Bigger brakes in general? Rear disc swap on your EF?

in the article you realize they are doing 2 different brake upgrades.

1st one, upgrading stock rear drum brakes to gsr rear disk brakes. by swapping the whole trailing arm

2nd, upgrading stock front to 11 inch prelude rotors with legend calipers. also this requires drilling of the prelude rotors cuz preludes bolt pattern is 4x114 and civics bolt pattern is 4x100

with that being said, the usdm and jdm gsr trailing arms are the same.

FAQ page is stickied at the top of the 88-91 section. Look, they have a brake section.

You dont have to get prelude rotors and have them redrilled. You can buy 2008 mini cooper BASE rotors and they will go right on without redrilling because their 4x100. Also make sure there 280mm rotors for them to work.
