ek/w 4x114 convertion. rotor replacement
I have a ek hatch with a 4X114 itr convertion and i have searched a little bit and it looks like people are using the 11" 92+ prelude rotors. I was looking at the Xdrilled/slotted 88rotors made from the brembo blanks and im wondering if there preludes would work? before anyone flames and says "ask them idiot" i already did and they were not sure. Just wondering if anyone else out there has any knowlage of this. If you have any other options for a brake upgrade please let me know. thank you.
cheers

PM the user BrakeExpert, he should be able to help you out. I believe he can redrill 4x100 integra rotors to 4x114.3 to fit your setup.

Alrighty.. here's what I did on a set I recently sold..
ITR calipers & brackets (can be found on itr, crv and acura cl, maybe others) with Prelude VTEC rotors.
You have to either space the caliper over or grind/machine part of the inner caliper area to clear the rotor. Not much thought, maybe 1-1.5mm You may also have to slightly grind the outer edge of the rotor as I was experiencing a slight clearance problem on hard cornering. It's pretty straight forward, once you get the parts and put it together, you'll see what has to be done. GL

it will work with a little grinding but I dont think they would clear 4x114 type r wheels. Mine barely clear stock 5 lug type r caliper and you cant even pretend they would clear my spoons even with spacers.

They clear the 4x114.3 ITR wheel. I had to grind less than 1mm off the outer edge of the caliper. It's really easy to do all the things needed to get them bolted on. GL with your project.
