test pipe question?
i have a testpipe on my ls and it has the hole and bolts for the sensors but i looked theres a couple small leaks in the welds in a couple spots. but my car through a cel code 67 deffective cat. is that mean bad o2 sensor or how can i fix that

check the wires. they may be unplugged.

if i reset my ecu it usally goes away for a while i have had it test piped for couple months and comes on now and then. anyway i can fool it cuz i have 34,000 and i rather not have my check engine light on incase i need it for something i should is wrong ha

Yours shouldn't do it anyways because it's an OBD1 car. OBD2 cars ('96-up) will throw this code when a test pipe is installed. My GSR did the same thing when I put on a test pipe. The code is caused by the second O2 sensor reading a different voltage than what is supposed to be read. Best way to fix it would be to get an O2 simulator.

u can wrap some tin foil around it, then put the sensor back in, and that would probably fix it, however you have to replace the foil every now and then, like 2 months. YOU ONLY HAVE 34,000 miles on a 96 teg? DAMn

yea i only got 34,000 bought it with 29,000 on it not to long ago. i have aem cold, header and testpipe other then that the exhaust is stock its a little louder and raspier then all stock but when cams kick in and the intake and header get soo deep i wouldnt change it. but im gettin a good deal on a greddy evo. also where can i get the piece to trick it or whatever? thanks for response
