I wish i had more knowledge of this car but i don't The cars either an LS or RS 4door, not sure which.

My problem is when I'm driving and come to an abrupt stop, when I down shift and try to go again, the car bogs down and dies, I try to give it gas but it sounds like it isn't getting any. After sitting for 15 or so sec it starts up and runs fine, until I stop again that is.

Any idea what the problem is?

Any check engine lights? What year?

And yes I'm gettin a check engine light

 

Pull the CEL codes. There is a link in the Integra FAQ thread.

 

MAP Sensor maybe or the IAC and possibly as ridiculous as the o2 sensor. and then the common misfiring plugs. check ur plugs. but theres the TPS that makes ur rpms jump up and down but ur car usually bogs down only when its cold if tps is no good

You can guess or just the computer tell you exactly what is wrong. The CEL code is your friend.

 

True. Very true. but disconnect those sensors and if nothing changes then its a quick fix :D lol. not bein defiant but i always do that before hoppin to CEL
