I know it's a year later but what a goddamn liar you are. Las Vegas streets and freeways are some of the worst ever with constant 24/7 construction and huge craters and dips. I drove there in 2001 and 2004 and they were crap, worse than SF.

Well i guess you'd better burn Honda down, because Honda certified it as a light-truck/SUV. There are different smog rules and weight rules that apply.

Personally, I think ALL car performance enthusiasts should get together and sponsor a bill to change the rules to allow engine swaps as long as the car is hooked up correctly and can pass a smog test.

Who cares if i want to run a Hummer H2 engine in my integra. As long as it passes smog and is safe. It would allow us to do what we want and it would allow Cali to collect extra fees on the certification process. Win-win if you ask me.

Actually, it's a light-truck because that's what Honda certified it as. End of story.

Gotta love Cali....... NOT.
I'm in Wisco and have never had to pop my hood, ever. I have a lowered, DB2 with a B20, and now I don't even have emissions: )

I'm sure his car was crushed, and shame on whoever revived this dead thread.

How am I an idiot if Thats what Honda, the makers of the CRV, certified it as under California law?!

Are you a retard or did you just skim over the part where I stated why Honda certified it as a light-truck? It's for fuel and emissions. But whatever. I would have expected this dumbass display from a noob but not from a man whose been on this forum as long as me. Oh well, be an idiot.

Honda certified it as a light truck. Ca and the rest of the nation recognizes it as a light truck. All SUV and mini-SUV bodies are rounded into the category of light truck which holds the same for the CRV's cousin, the Rav-4. You lose, dumbass.

No, better yet, drop in a B20 into your car and then you can continue this dumbass argument with CHP and CA BAR and you can argue semantics of how it's not 'technically' a truck engine because bLaH bLaH bLaH

Eh eh ehy! No more crying okay?

Your brain fails because you're an average consumer.

So, I suggest you go write a book on how the EPA tea bags you on the forehead along with the rest of California.

i got pulled over in charleston, SC by an older cop for having dark tint on my car.

when he got to the window he says "nice car you got here, i used to have an EM1, anyting done to it?"

i tell him just all the basic ****, and we ended up sitting in a charleston taco bell parking lot talking about hondas.

turns out the dude has a K20 rex that he auto x's.

it just depends on what officer you get i guess.

gl though.
