Question on RHD conversion in So. Cali
Ok i just dropped off my car to do my RHD conversion on my 2000 civic si. I was wondering should i call the shop and tell them to just rivet off my vin # on my dash and just keep it in my glove compartment or try to rivet it on the jdm dash? Also should i ask them to cut off the vin # on my stock firewall and keep it in my glove also? Will CHP ask me for both these vin #'s? So Cal people please help!

Re: Question on RHD conversion in So. Cali (JDMTONY)
dont cut any vin #'s off......its not illegal to have a rhd car....and leave the original vin with the original firewall......its illegal to change firewall vin #'s......u need to present the old firewall with the original vin # to the chp so that they can give u a new one on firewall u have in ur car........hopefully this helps.....
