Man! Thats a bum deal. I would appeal. But expect to lose.

I live in Ohio and am wondering if Cali regulations apply to my state? Time to do some research!

Luckily here in Missouri...all you need to do is get a simple inspection to make sure your car is drivable. No emissions/smog crap to deal with.

The only thing you'll usually get pulled over for is tint darker than 35%, and front plate in the windshield. I've been popped for both...and let off with warnings each time.

what i dotn understand is how can they not identify the car if it has 13 vin numbers in total why dont they look at the rest .. that is what the police man told me that the detective was suppose to do but never did it

[freak]ing california is whack !!!!!!

WOW, this is why I don't ever want to live in California.

I can run a submarine's nuclear reactor under my hood so long as it passes the sniffer.

because the one on the door jam is a sticker it really doesn't count, and the only way to get a legal vin on a new dash it has to be on the car and they verify it by the vin on the chassis engraved on the firewall, but since you removed the original it is impossible to verify it with a rhd dash already on the car you see what i mean? there for giving him reason to suspect it was stolen.

Gotta love CA. Best place to live (depending on which city). Just abide the LAW and you'll be just dandy. Since you're only 19, take this as a learning experience and move on with your life. It might be a pretty penny that you've lost, but you can always start over. Now that you've grown a bit wiser from this catastrophe, start by doing things right the first time. Do your research from now on, before you go all out MaD TyT3 J@YdeeM stYL3. Living and learning is one thing... It's always best to take good advice when it's given in order to avoid trouble before the **** hits the fan.

Take care.

it all depends where you live in cali. burbank is for sure a hell-hole for honda lovers who do swaps and mods... I live in a small valley (palm springs are) and cops don't really mind, only thing i've been hassled for is tint and a tail light that went out.
situation sucks though, again; it just depends in how big of a city you live in and how popular honda mods are.

THE FACT THAT ONE BLOCK IS ILLEGAL AND OTHERS AREN'T SOUNDS PRETTY STUPID IN MY OPINION!!! THE OLD SCHOOL PRELUDE SI's CAME WITH B20's!!! ARE THOSE CARS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL FOR HAVE AN "SUV" MOTOR INSTALLED IN THEM???

People get pulled over for being black, and you want to complain about being pulled over for looking suspicious? Good luck winning that one.

Damn that sucks! Over here in San Bernardino cops are cracking down hard! I got pulled over by one cop for just coming out of McDonalds. As soon as I park it four more cop cars come and inspect my vehicle they were betting on how many mods I'll have haha! Good thing all my aftermarket parts are legal. Good Luck with your case!
