Default Piston?

i just received a set of SRP pistons with compression of 10:5:1 and i was supposed to get Aries pistons..........do the srp's compare at all to the aries or should i get them switched or does it really matter??? thanks

SRP has a higher silicon content in it than Arias. They don't expand as much making them quieter but they are more prone to detonation due to the fact they don't transfer heat through the skirt as well. If all you want is a 10.5:1 daily driver/racer you'll be fine with SRP(probably even better than Arias and last longer) but if you plan on throwing on 150 shot or alot of boost, the Arias is probably a better bet.

But in the end you ordered Arias. I sure as hell would be expecting Arias pistons at my door.

hey, well i got it through this guy at a performance shop but i pmed him asking wats that all about.........well i dont really plan on throwing a massive shot of nitrous but a little bit later on........well i just wanted to make sure because i really have no idea what ones are good or anthing.......... thanks
