Default which pistons for nitrous

i need some new pistons for my h22a.i had a nitrous puddle last time out at the track and cracked the number 2 piston.i'm not looking to bore it.thanks for any help.

i was wanting to know what type of pistons, dish,dome,compression ratio ect.i think your supposed to go with dish type pistons wit a nitrous bluid up.

it all depands on ur tuner and i dont think dish type will help with nitrous

dish pistons lower compression ratio which will slow you down. if its a street car limit your compression ratio to 11 to 1 if you don't mind running 94 octane all the time or 10.5 to 1 if you wanna get by with 92 or 91. nitrous doen't affect compression ratio as with a turbo. the only thing to worry about is your cylinder pressure. forged pistons are obviously a must for any shot over 80. srp is a good street piston due to the 10 percent silicone in it allowing it to expand faster. je is the race piston and does not have any silicone in it. so it takes longer to expand but is stronger. assuming its a street car and u don't mind premium gas.. srp pistons with an 11 to 1 ratio works perfectly..

mahle makes forged pistons for stock h22a sleeves. They are the only ones I know of.
