...What year GSR? I would get a OBD1 p28 with the S300. That ECU is VTEC compatible.

its a 95 GSR and okay so i bought the p75 obd1 off this guy which he ran it in two vtec cars...plugged it in, everything worked fine BUT when i tried to ripped it the CEL came on vtec didnt work, we plugged the ecu on the laptop the code was "vtec spool"...my question now is since its an LS/GS ecu non vtec is that why its not working? cause when i got home we plugged in the stock p72 ecu, vtec kicked in just fine

how is vtec wired in then? check your wiring sounds like a wiring issue. has the check engine light always been on? did it ever hit vtec? **** load of questions but might help

its a stock wiring all we did was plugged in the p75 hondata s300....like I said before......I got home we plugged the stock p72 back in...then it ripped and popped V...but when we plugged the p75...it doesnt do it...and turns on the CEL code for "vtec spool"
