Icon6 Vtec issue

i have a 95 Gs-r, we bought a hondata s300 socketed to a p75, plugged that in with the base map. The vtec on switchin over on the computer but the CEL is on throwing a code for "Vtec spool" and the Vtec doesnt engages. At the meanwhile we throw the factory p72 ecu back in the Vtec engages but my tuner told me I have no Vtec...but it does crossover. Could it be the Solenoid?

no... cause it works with the stock ecu....sounds like a wiring issue...or maybe something wrong with the s300...

it's not the solenoid cause you said when you put back the stock ecu everything works fine...you have to check the socket on the ecu and make sure that it has signal...even tho the ecu says it works doesn't mean it really is working...and most of the time if you get the check engine light for that code...it's disconnect...

ya figured that much that it wasnt the solenoid, we talked to the tuner in Innovative Motors Works, he said I need a harness to activate the non vtec base ecu to vtec since the p75 ecu is non vtec
