IDLE problem!! help idles low on start up

IDLE problem!! help idles low on start up
everytime i start my car, it seems to idle very low like its about to die. i say it sits around 300 rpm. if i step on the gas a little to help it out then it goes up like it should and idle fine. if anyone knows what is wrong please post if you had or know someone that had the same problem. thanks all info is helpfull

i would deffinatley check your IACV (idle Air control valve) i will almost bet that it is clogged up with gunk or not working properly!!!!

i have never tried to look at that.. is that the thing in the back of the intake manifold? and i have also read that some people have the same problem maybe with the ignition?

search...lots of info on this...and yes its most likely ur iacv...take it off and spray carb cleaner into it...i heard simple green works really well? never tried it...but give it a shot
