Ok guys so I have extremely annoying idle problem. My 94 integra idles fine on a cold start, idles fine once driving after a cold start, but once the engine is already warmed up and I go to start it again the damn thing shoots to 2500rpms. Then once idling that high if I give it some gas it climbs and drops back down to 2500 really slow. The annoying part about it is that its completely random and doesn't do it all the time. I've tried cleaning the IACV. Cleaning the TB. I've searched and thought it could be the TPS but I just don't know. Curious if anyone has run into this before and what their take on the issue is any help is greatly appreciated

 

mine was idling at 2500 at start up then 1500 at warm up, it turned out to be the IM gasket, found it by spraying carb cleaner

being that it retuns to idle slowly my guess would be vacume leak like the guy said buy some card cleaner and spray everywhere ther could be a vacume leak if u hit a leak the car will resume normal idle for a second then go back to high idle.
