Going off these numbers:
The difference is a little more than 1/2 a pound more per horsepower ratio, which IMO, is quite a difference.
2000 GS-R hatch: 2672 lbs 15.72 lbs/hp
2000 GS-R sedan: 2764 lbs 16.26 lbs/hp
16.72 - 15.72 = 0.54 lbs/hp
But these are just numbers, it will come down to what one's preference is.
