Default crvtec setup

need some help. I am going to be going b20/gsr head/jg edelbrock IM. I wan't to go turbo. What is the reliability of the motor on stock internals.

One other thing that I would like to have cleared up is, I always hear people say you have to get the valve releifs on the pistons notched for clearance. But i hear some people say you don't. What do you guys think. Anyone done this without getting the valves notched. Thanks, your help is much appreciated.

You would have better luck posting in forced induction.......but I'll give you my opinion. B20B has lower compression.....better for turbo. B20's have weak sleeves, their reliability depends on your boost level.

If you select the right piston for your buildup, valve clearance won't be an issue.

I don't know if you read it, but I said it was going to be on stock internals. Thanks for you reply though.

Sorry, my fault. Keep the boost level modest and you should be fine. Sleeves or head gasket will be your weak points.
