help with boost level

Default help with boost level

ok i've searched a lil bit and havent found nothing. how much boost will a basically stock b20vtec handle. stock bottom end, b16 head with a race port job, 3 angle valve job, jun intake valves, gsr cams, jun gears, and an edlebrock IM
help would be appreacited

thanks a lot man really appreciate it. will make my decision. i knew bout the sleeves cracking. just got a b20vtec, and wanted to turbo it cause i want my eg to be all motor and my da to be turboed. i know the sleeves will crack and they ******* suck. just want to see how much boost is safely the max b4 a sleeve crack. i'm not gonna talk **** like they did in that post. jus wanna findout

with a built one you won't encounter these problems if you stay at the 84mm. any bigger and some head gasket sealing question come into play.

Just to clarify, I think you mean with rods, pistons, AND aftermarket sleeves you won't encounter these problem. If you just build the motor with rods/pistons and stock sleeves you will have problems and I doubt it would last very long at all.

that is exactly what i eman. i sould have clarified it. all of the above mods can help prevent that.
