Compression Test #'s
I just tested my GF's 98 GSR with 83K
I did it with the trottle closed and got 180 on all 4. That's almost 100 psi low/cyl?!! I will try it with the throttle open and see what I get.
Just retested with throttle. Only made the readings go up about 5 psi. I then added a little oil and the readings went up to 210 all the way across.

My 250 246 245 245 test was with WOT. You should still get the same result but it'll probably take more cranks to get it to max psi

My 250 246 245 245 test was with WOT. You should still get the same result but it'll probably take more cranks to get it to max psi

Yes. Valves that are not to spec are not creating the seal which they should be which would result in lower compression.
