CANNOT fix vibration under acceleration
My 96 B20 integra vibrates under acceleration. I had an engine code for cylinder 1 misfire
So far i have
1. Compression test
2. New injector on cyl. 1 (old one was cracked on the plastic sleeve)
3. Checked wires
4. Checked plugs
I wonder if it could be a valve adjustment issue.. What exactly would I look for if i pulled the valve cover?

No, im still waiting for the cel to come back since I just reset the ecu.
Strangely enough. When accelerating at WOT in 2nd gear from 4500 to 5500 the vibration seems to come on VERY strong.
From the research im doing so far im starting to believe it may be a valve adjustment problem.
Oh and about the tires, I did rotate them recently and my back rear is getting pretty low on tread...

Vibration under acceleration is almost ALWAYS bad inner CV joints. I guarantee that is your problem, and the CEL was just coincidental that it showed up around the same time as you felt the vibration.
probably a bad countershaft bearing. drivers side, between the outer cv shaft and the trans.
replace...
enjoy...
random multiple misfires are really nothing to worry about as long as the are not throwing codes ALL THE TIME....
hope it halps.

OP what axles do you have original or replacements? the replacement don't have the rubber donut on the shaft like the originals, I think this is why mine vibrate

Yeah I have vibration in my 95 teg that didn't start happening until I replaced the original axles that where clicking with AUTOZONE axles, and they were brand new not remans.

yeah none of the remans or even the new unless u get them from honda have the rubber, I think I just got a bad one(axle) in my experience its hit or miss with AZ axles, I had ones that start clicking a within a week of putting them on, I wouldn't even touch their axles if they didn't have lifetime warranty

Is there a way to tell which one is causing the vibration?
I would take the AZ axle back and replace it, only thing its going to cost you is the 30 min or so to swap it out with the new, the axle swaps go faster after you do it a couple of times ...lol, and since you didn't notice the shaking until after you replaced it I would look there first. I have gotten replacements before that were bad right out of the box

Could this bad axle cause shuddering under braking?
Cause my car shudders when I brake hard, I wonder if its because it may be a non abs axle.

That thread states the EXACT problem I am having..
I just need to know now if its worth getting an axle from HMO cause they sell refurbished ones... if not them where?
Oh and I already called ****in Autozone they are giving me a refund damnit!!
So for future informative purposes, if the ****ing search ever works again this should be a lot of help for people...

What rims do you have? If you have aftermarket, do you have the reducing center rings? I had that problem and causes vibration/shake on acceleration only.

In my experience, aftermarket wheels w/o centering rings will, just like an unbalanced wheel, vibrate at all speeds whether or not the engine is under load.
To check which axle is the problem, grab each inner axle joint and try to rotate it. If there is ANY rotational play at all, replace it.
