Default 94 engine

Alrite i have a quick question.
i plan on going lsV
i have a 98 teg.
today i got an offer on a 94 b18b long block..
my question is, because the block is obd1, will i need any special wiring for the just the block, the head will not be in use?

Well you will need to have the crank sensor installed, or jump it, which is possible and can be found on H-T. This sensor is used in OBD2 systems but not OBD1. So unless you go OBD1 (using a jumper harness and an OBD1 ecu), you will either need to install it or jump it. It can be found in your oil pump on the driver side of the engine near the oil pan. I believe it is a two wire sensor. Good luck, and maybe someone else can add anything they can think of.
