NEED HELP WIRING CRANK SPEED FLUCTUATION SENSOR...OBD II TO OBD I SWAP
Wassup everyone,
I am in the process of removing all the check engine light codes from my friends motorswap. The swap is a 98 b18c5 usdm into a 94 del sol. Since this is a OBD II motor into an OBD I wire harness we have finished wiring everything up except for one sensor. We have already made an adapter harness for the OBD II ecu...
However we are stuck with one Check engine light code, 54 which is the crankshaft speed fluctuation sensor. Does anyone know how to wire this up?? We have a 95 Integra Helms manual, however we cannot find access to a 98 Integra Helms since Helms is currently out of print. If anyone can maybe scan a diagram of where this wires up to on the ECU or how to wire it up..it would be greatly appreciated...
Or if anyone else could provide any additional information as in if it is needed, since supposely some say certain sensors can actually hinder power. For instance ive heard the evaporation emissions control sensor i believe that is what its called, connected from the intake manifold to the fuel filter does such a thing as restrict power.
Well any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
eric

You need to run the wht/red wire to A11 and the blu/red wire to A1. That wil solve your code 54. Good luck.
