Default Oil Pump Question?

Okay after searching for a bit i was able to find many topics that included people using OB2 oil pumps on OBD1 blocks (modifying lower timing cover, etc...) now my question is this:

I will be building a new GSR block, and teh Bare GSR block i bought came from a 98 GSR. Since my old motor was OBD1 (from a 94 GSR) i have an obd1 ECU and Wiring...so in short...will i be able to use an OBD1 oil pump on my new OBD2 block without any issues.. I dont have one of those CFK sensors because obviously i am OBD1...? so will it work?

it'll work fine. you're just not bolting a ckf sensor on.
