ok so my DA will not start now. I just got it running with a b18b1 in it on the pr4 ecu. the map sensor had a vacuum leak so i swapped out the vacuum line and it won't start now. i checked my codes before i messed with anything and there was none. i check my codes after it won't start and it's a solid cel. i heard that meant a bad ecu so i used a buddies p75 and the solid cel went away but it still wont start. any ideas??

 

Does it have spark and fuel with the good ECU?

 

yes sir it does

 

okay u need to start from the beggining this prob is always something easily over looked. heres what i do when i have a car that wont start eliminate every possibility. 1 spark i just pull a wire stuff a long bolt into it and tough to my header 2 fuel hold a flat tip screw driver on them while u are trying to start the car if u can here/feel them clicking they work or stuff a light tester in the the plug into the yellow blakc wire it should have a constant 12 volts, 3 timing check tdc check wires to see if timing is on, 4 compression do a compression test in all 4 cylinders. i just had the same problem over looked the whole no compression problem did a valve lash and it works great now goodluck.

 

check the wiring for the map sensor.

 

make sure all your connectors on your wiring harness are connected in the right places and also check all your ground wires .
