i was driving my car an it kinda started acting like my old car when the head gaskets blew and then it died i got it to start back up for about 5 seconds and it ran like ****. now it wont even turn over like its not gettin a spark or somethin. please somone help me out caus i really need to fix my car soon so i can find a job

Any CEL codes? Check for spark and listen for whether the fuel pump primes.

 

yeah the starter is workin fine

yout hank you could talk me through this cause i dont know what cel codes are
the check ngine light isnt comin on anymore either but it died when it first broke down

When you turn the key to ON(II), do you hear the low humming/buzzing noise of the fuel pump priming for 2 seconds in the rear?

okay the light isnt stayn on and the fuel pump is priming

currently cant check for spark cause i dnt have no oen to help me

Check that battery voltage reaches the coil and igniter unit inside the distributor with the key in ON(II).

Test the coil and igniter unit in the distributor.

Check whether the timing belt snapped.

 

how do you test it

yeah i checked the timing belt earlier and luckily it wasnt broke

im prob gonna replace the whole distributor cause my buddy just changed apart in his and now another part is ****in up
