Nicky Hayden may not compete on the AMA Flat Track or even Supercross, but he is, and has been, America’s pride in motorcycle racing for over a decade. And now, Honda Pro Racing has produced a stellar new video that gives us a small glimpse of what it’s like to be Nicky Hayden as seen through the eyes of his racing legend dad Earl Hayden.
Famously known as “The Kentucky Kid,” Owensboro, Kentucky, native Nicky has done it all when it comes to motorcycle racing. Local, regional, state, national and even being crowned the MotoGP world champion in 2006.
Nicky Hayden may not compete in MotoGP anymore after a tumultuous season with Ducati, but World SuperBike keeps him busy. Heck, he’s even returned to his winning ways.
