Also the cable of the injector on second cylinder is like this (i "fixed" for now with isolation tape):
I also swapped spark plug from cylinder 4 to cylinder 2 and from 2 to 4 and it looks like this after 30 kilometers of 2500-7000 rpms from that problematic cylinder 2 :
Re: 1999 Civic D15Z6 - spark plug colors? high HC on emissions
Run a compression test on all four cylinders... if they are similar and above 150 psi, make sure that the blue wire on the #2 fuel injector clip is repaired so it cannot be grounded against anything. Next, move the #2 fuel injector over to the #4 cylinder and then drive the car for a bit. Check to see if the rich condition has moved from 2 to 4. If so, get your fuel injectors cleaned and try again.
Re: 1999 Civic D15Z6 - spark plug colors? high HC on emissions
Thanks for reply
I ordered compression tester should arrive wednesday so will try that, also the blue wire is not touching anything other than electrical tape, and also when i disconnected that connector to fuel injector the engine was more "shaky" so it seems it "works" but maybe not as it should. Will try swapping them.
Also could it be for high HC that i also purchased this catalytic? https://bmcats.com/catalogue/details/BM91061/ i though it will works as the old one is cracked but it seems BM91061 does not works and should maybe try BM91061H, anyone tried that catalytic?
Re: 1999 Civic D15Z6 - spark plug colors? high HC on emissions
Your FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator) is leaking. The vacuum line for mixture enrichemnt at WOT is connected directly befor 2nd cylinder. Extra (unmetered) fuel is being pulled from the rail and thorugh vacuum line dumped into onlet manifold in front of cylinder #2. Thta is why your plug on cylinder number 2 is dark and full of sooth.
Also, all of the plugs are a bit darkish (i.e. the engine runs a bit ritch).
How to be sure about FPR? Disconnect the vacuum hose line at the inlet manifold end and smell it; if there is a smell of fuel, that is it, you have found the problem. There should not be any of fuel smell there as though that hose only vacuum passes.
Now comes the fun part: FPR is NLA (no longer available) and I doubt you will be able to find a new one.I have seen some aftermarket ones of dubious quality;I am reffering to the original one made by Keihin. But, any FPR will do as they all operate at 3 bar pressure; you will just have to get an adapter machined to suit the one you have/can obtain.
Hope this helped

Re: 1999 Civic D15Z6 - spark plug colors? high HC on emissions
Hello, so i checked the vacuum hose and there is no smell of fuel and also seems dry inside, and i also tried that ecu reset via backup radio fuse, also any part number which i should order for o-rings for injectors (better have them when switching them) ?
and also this is the spark plug from that second cylinder after another cca 30-40 km
