LS/VTEC reversed to install on b18c block?

LS/VTEC reversed to install on b18c block?
Im about to buy a type R head thats allready been tapped and setup for LS/Vtec is it possible to reverse the setup so i can use the head on my GSR motor?
How would i do so?

well, if the oil passage has a plug on it, then just take it out.
if its welded, then either drill or run an external oil line like

what i meant was i want the type R head for my GSR block but how do i reverse the tap?

reverse tap?
all you have to do is take out the plug out of the vtec feed oil gallery.

NO, I think what you're not getting is he's undoing the ls/vtec.
Yes you can, just take the tap out of the hole and put the plug back in. If it's welded then just cap it off. If the dowl pins are drilled then you'll need the ls/vtec pins and use the upside down.

OK, i was talking about the stock vtec feed oil gallery wich you have to plug when doing ls/v .if you want to reverse take out the plug...
I think your mistaken thinking is the adapter that you put on the head to connect the oil line. you do have to plug that back.
