Default quick ? to check my logic in somewhat ls/vtec setup

I know this has nothign to do w/ an ls/vtec but it is similar....i picked up a head already plugged for the ls/vtec and the dowel pins were drilled in the other 2 holes besdies the orginally used gsr ones...so instead of unpluggin the oil passage can't i just run an oil line from my oil press sender to the vtec oil feed used in the ls/vtec setup and slap it on a gsr block..im pretty sure it will work just need some 2nd opinions, also should i use a b18b hg or the a new b18c one?

are you asking if you can use an ls/vtec prepped head on a vtec block?

yes, sorry about my dumb ? sometimes i lose my mind. I could either #1 drill out the plug and feed the oil like it orginally was...or the harder of the 2 #2 plug the oil feed supply from the block also and run an oil supply to the head where they run the vtec oil supply....correct me if im wrong but i think i got my logic together now.
