I was hoping you would chime in. Ill probably end up taking the door off again, had to do it when I ran 12awg speaker wire.

Im thinking this is one of the switches? Both the door light and window stopped working at the same time, maybe its a coincidence but im guessing related.

Anyone know what could cause this?

I think I might have found the problem. Disconnected battery. I set my multimeter to diode then I put a probe on the + terminal of the alternator and the other to the body of the alternator one...

I will try the dump ground. RCA's are ran through the center of the car. I dont think its RCA's since I tried another set of RCAs not ran under anything and still had the interference. Heard a bad...

One thing I found is that I had the 12V fused alarm wire as well as remote start wires connected to the 12V gray DEI 520 output. Im thinking that when remote starting that it draws too much current...

I dont see anything wrong with the line, but at the dei fuse and connector are both melted. Im thinking its a 520T failure vs a problem with my install

Should have just said that in the first post. Anyways, yes with trunk pop you will need an actuator and a relay. If you want you domelight to come on when you arm/disarm then you will need another...

^Another idea is to maybe show the owner how the alarm is setup up at least basic setup+locations if possible so they have the knowledge to do work themselves
