Hi, we've been having trouble getting a 1994 Honda Accord to keep running. At the moment we are trying to find the connector under the dash on the passenger side that we are supposed to put the paper clip in to check the codes. All I see is an orange connector with 6 holes at the end of it, and 4 wires leading to it. Nothing plugged in. The car's manual says it has 2 wires and comes out to face the passenger side under the glove box. Well, that 6-hole plug is all I found and I don't want to fry any computer things by putting the paper clip in the wrong two holes. Am I looking in the wrong place for that connector?

There could be differences depending on what region, or where your Accord was built.

US made '94-'97 Accords have two blue connectors located under/behind the glove box door, you will want to use the blue two wire connector to check for codes, the other is blue 3 wire data link connecotor for scanners.


The orange connector will be in front of the two blue connectors.

I have a 94 coupe oriellys guy says it's a dx..I just bought the car and it ran fine till here recently when the fuel pump quit working..wasn't sending fuel when it hit excessories..since I have replaced the fuel pump,filter,sending unit and the fuel relay..each time it will start but only once..saw the article about to blue two wire connector under the passenger side dash.. I have a two wire connector,one one wire is blue the connector itself it clear,is this the one I'm looking for??? It is currently plugged it.. however I have a large blue connector that isn't plugged into anything ..I'm thinking that's the data one u plug into..and I also have a third one that just hanging there it's orange,where does that go?? Any help at this point would be great ty
