ive had the same thing happen twice now... this most recent time( within the last few weeks) my mileage was being counted still, so I knew it wasn't the VSS... I bought a speedo gauge and swapped it...

those bolt grommets can be a bitch to take on/off the bolts! i think i used dish soap to lube them up so they slide on easier

exactly! its so you can put the end link bracket on... otherwise it wouldn't sit flush against the shock fork

its not that they put springs with high rates, its that the pro-c are supposed to be for "race".. which means on a smooth track... on a track they probably work well... these are not for street/daily...

thanks marc, thats what I thought... all that I have read decribes clutch slipping when accelerating, and not decellerating or engine braking... it definitely feels like what i would consider...

gotta make sure you put the lca's under load when you torque down the bolts... if you tighten them up before you put the car under load you will twist the bushings, and blow them out really fast

i think the cat converters on eg's, and ek's are different sizes... one is like an inch or so longer... I had put an exhaust on my eg sedan, and I had two different cats... one was about an inch...
