Trying to troubleshoot my starting issue. It's a 93 SI VTEC with 285k, no mods, it has a h22a4 swapped but I was having same issues when the h22 was in there so I don't think the motor is to blame. ...

so if i understand u right, those numbers mean im running rich which is "average" on stock ecu and 13:1 is more consitent with a tuned ecu? im running on a p13, BTW, didnt want to leave any info out...

good point, i was not aware of that. I thought that was the materal the sleeve was made out of. The guy at the machine shop told me the walls were scoured to bad to be honed, recommended new sleeves....

it is stock, i had the stock FRM sleeves put in, new rings on the pistons. the valve job was just a 3 angle on stock valves, i didnt upgrade them. I had the long block out i figured i would go...

yea it does, its pissing me off too. Just from some internet search the b18 are putting around 140 to the wheels, stock.

there was a thread on prelude online from like 03, the guy had a 01 stock...

ive tried research, but most info found is ppl posting dyno's after their car has been modded.

i just find it hard to believe that almost a third of the vehicles HP get soaked...

i didnt, i assumed compression would be where it should be considering i just had a sh*t load of work done. sleeves, rings, valve job, etc.

what about the numbers? is that where it should be?

hey im pretty sure that the 96 OBDI does not have the crank sensor mounted in the front by the timing housing. i have a 93 which does not have one there.
