So ive read through many threads about this exact problem and heard of a bunch of ways to make this work, but i want the simplest way/answer. My engine is a 1996 jdm and the car is a 1995 usdm gsr....

I havent tested the ohms like it said in the manual but i did find out that my engine is a 1996 gsr and its running on the original obd1 ecu? Could that be the reason for throwing cel code 8? Thanks,...
