Time Belt + Water Pump?

Looking for recommendations on a 2004 Honda Civic EX. Some say it's better to get them both done at the same time because of labor, others say it depends on the car. I plan on driving this car into...

OEM Front Under Spoiler - '04 Civic?

Is there an OEM Under Spoiler available for the '04 Civic EX? I checked Handa and all they have is '01-'03. Even googling for it I found nothing. Can't find it on Honda's eStore either.

Re: Am I a fool?

I say keep the TL. You've got the NSX for fun. The TL is such a better daily driver. Also as was mentioned, the Mugen is going to be a hot car for thieves too. I see the TL as a step up. If you...

Re: Inherited a 2005 S2000

Sorry for not following up. I did decide to keep it after driving it for a few weeks. Planning on doing a few OEM upgrades like Front Under Spoiler, Side Strakes, and Titanium Shift Knob. Other...

Clearing an old Code

Last year, my check engine light came on during a raining day and the car starting shifting higher than usual. After taking to a mechanic to read the code, I was given the code and told it was an...

Re: buying "S2000 vs S2000 CR"

If you want to keep the car stock and don't use it for a daily driver... I think the CR is the way to go.

If it's a daily driver or you're looking to modify it... I'd take the standard s2000.

Re: whats up guys got 06 s2000 today

From what I've seen Honda MTF is highly recommended for the tranny.

I'm having my tranny fluid, rear diff. fluid, brake fluid and air cleaner done today. I asked the shop to use Honda fluids...

Re: S2000 - Scheduled Main't

It's a comfort issue, I've done oil changes many times... I've never done the other stuff. I did search and didn't find much pertaining my specific questions, so I made a new post instead.

Re: S2000 - Scheduled Main't

I'm having a local shop do the work. They called the dealer to ensure everything they were going to do was up to Honda's requirements. I asked them to use only Honda fluids for this stuff. I do...

Re: S2000 - Scheduled Main't

I take it that since no one responded, I've got everything covered. So I booked an appointment to get the above stuff done, they said it would be about $285 after tax... which seems reasonable.

Re: Finally Brought It Home

Congrats on the car. I had the fluids replaced as well, just to be safe. It's a small investment that gave me piece of mind. As for driving a convertible, it certainly is a different experience......

Re: Considering purchasing an S2000; input requested

I'm 27 and have absolutely no issues with comfort in the s2000. At about 5' 10" I do squeeze to get in there, but once you're in the seat it's very comfortable and form fitting. I can easily do 5...

Re: Door Panel Fabric - What Glue?

It starts from the top left corner and goes about 1/3 way down, and continues along the top about 3/4 the way across. It's a relatively large area, so I'm not too afraid to use the spray but I'm...

Re: Door Panel Fabric - What Glue?

I was going to, but it seems to have stopped peeling after a point. It's been like this for at least 3 months, I don't know why I'm just getting around to fixing it now.

Re: Seat Locks - Extra Cautious

Hard top only protects the car when it's on though, and this is a summer car for me. Can't exactly ride around with the hardtop in the trunk :)

Re: Inherited a 2005 S2000

Not too worried about someone stealing the seats or anything. I live in a very yuppie suburb, there's really not any car theft where I live. But thanks for the heads up, I won't be going to...
