Going to do the ultimate thread revive. Yes, I've found out the hard way. An over tightened belt WILL cause a crank seal leak.

You cant pull pressure out of the block. Only reason for vacuum inside the crankcase is for cycling air through the system to reburn the HC's, and additional cooling. The system is always pulsating...

The system is a 1 way system. Air goes into the valve cover and out the PCV valve into the IM. This only works well durring idle, low load cruise and decel.

Ive taken some time off to build the s14. I depowered the rack/pinion. S14's caster makes it impossible to turn w/o PS. I fixed that.

Anybody ever have any issues with the radiator fan running constantly? Im wondering if the fan's have a certain MTBF, since i have mine running constantly durring hot summer days.

OP be carefull on the fan/radiator setup here. I found out your best bet is a copper/aluminum radiator with an altima fan. Ka's put out so much heat is non-sense.
