Re: when to shift on LX engine to get the best gas milage? (Hawkze_2.3)

YOU are one of the ones that needs to read that article. Seeing you like to spew crap. I specifically didn't explain the diesel engine braking because that had nothing to do with the thread. I'm...

Re: when to shift on LX engine to get the best gas milage? (JchanFTW)

Hello again Sir,
RICO_ did ask for your sources for proof. Can you provide some form of documentation to prove what you're trying to say? That would make your argument more effective.

Re: when to shift on LX engine to get the best gas milage? (Hawkze_2.3)

I hadn't seen the Wideband A/F meters before. Thanks! Do you know how they work? They measure Air/Fuel ratio. Not fuel flow rate.
Here is a link to describe the workings for anyone interested....

Re: Synthetic Motor Oil question? (Bulli Kid)

I should probably clarify what I said. I don't recommend switching "back and forth" between the oils every other oil change.
Once you decide what you're going to use, I would stick with that...

Re: Synthetic Motor Oil question? (HA0LEFIED)

You CAN switch to Mobil 1, or back to Dinosaur oil without a problem. When synthetics first came out, there were some growing pains. Now there is just a lot of misinformation out there.

Re: when to shift on LX engine to get the best gas milage? (coot_er)

For better mileage, short shifting helps. That's why people whine about automatic "economy" cars not being able to get out of their own way! The trick is to get it into the highest gear without...

Re: How to change low beam lights on 07 civic? (dwojno)

I've got a factory manual in front of me. They want you to remove the whole inner fender. (1 Support Strut bolt, 11 clips, and 3 phillips screws for the splash guard.) I'm guessing that you have a 2...

Re: Rear window spontaneously shatter? (SeanJohn1802)

I'm normally pretty suspicious too. But a good look around might point to the problem. Were there any fresh cut lawns? Those pebbles FLY out of the mowers! I've seen too many ID10Ts blowing the grass...

Re: Whistle sound??? (Landshark68)

Just for giggles, try having her put the windows all the way up again on that side. I'm serious. With temperature change, The windows sometimes don't seal all the way. If you raise the windows on the...

Re: Poping noise on the endlink? (yuning83)

Did you torque the hardware? I'm guessing, but it sounds like it may be a bit under torqued. the bar would warm over a 100 mile trip. (Caused by friction, if loose) The heat will swell metal parts,...

Re: dx, lx, ex auto owners (HondaGSX)

Try putting on the "parking" brake before you shift the car into park. Then when re-entering the car to drive again, shift into gear first. Then release the "parking" brake. That should solve your...
