Default How to change low beam lights on 07 civic?

I cant figure out how to open up the wheel well. I looked in the instruction manual and they say there is a screw there, but i can not find it. Can anyone please let me know how to access them.

Thanks

Turn your wheel the other way (right) if your working on the driver's side. There are clips holding it in. Not to be an *** or anything but if you can't figure this part out, goodluck taking out the bulb.

do you just take out the one where the manual says the screw is or do you take more of them out.

they are just plastic clips..use a phillips head and pry them off.

I've got a factory manual in front of me. They want you to remove the whole inner fender. (1 Support Strut bolt, 11 clips, and 3 phillips screws for the splash guard.) I'm guessing that you have a 2 door Si. Splash guards intact. Is this correct?

Oops, you're gone already!
You should be able to get to it by turning your wheel to give you some room to work in front of it. There should be 1 bolt involved, holding the inner fender to a support strut 8mm or 10mm maybe? Use a small regular blade screwdriver (NOT a Phillips!) to lift the center part of the clips. (There is an indentation in the clip for the screwdriver. lift the center part of the clip to unlock it. (1/4" or so should do it.) they'll pull right out of the holes then, just wiggle a bit. If you don't damage them, you'll be able to reuse them. If you get the inner fender loose to just above the top of the wheel (12:00 position), You should be able to get your arm in to take the bulb out of the rear of the lamp housing. (A flashlight helped me, but I was in a dark garage.) This method will put a few creases in your arm!

Otherwise keep removing clips that hold the inner fender on. You'll need a phillips head to remove 3 screws on the splash guard. If you got everything, the inner fender will come right out for you. After all this, things should be more accessible for you. REMEMBER Don't touch the glass on the new bulbs. Halogens get so hot that the oils from your body will create hot spots, and your bulb life will be diminished. Sometimes severely! Good luck!

are the 07's different from the 06's, because I changed the low beam from the engine bay. The passenger was a tight fit but the driverside all u have to do is remove the coolant resivour, just pull up and it just slids out.

exactly as you said. driver's side pull reservoir. passenger side use a flat screwdriver to pop a couple clipls and just pull the plastick wheel well cover back. you'll pull the bottom out of it's place but it's ok. easy to replace. no big deal. headlight bulbs or turn/side marker bulbs.
