Poping noise on the endlink?
Ok so I installed my sway bar not long ago, and after the install, I took it out for a drive and had poping sound at the back end of the car. The second day I took it for a 100+ miles trip, and it was poping at the beginning of the trip especially whenever I turn. But by the end of the trip, no more poping sound.
I then went under the car and found nothing wrong with the bar... Well now I got the HFP suspension like last weekend, installed that. And part of the install was to take off the endlink at the end of the bar. Everything went fine, but after putting everything together (including the endlinks) I'm having the poping noise again. Well, I'm gonna take it out tomorrow again to see if it still pops after some driving.
But I have asked some people on the forum who installed their sway bar. They told me their bar never made any poping noise... so now I'm scared that I did something wrong, and it messed up something... somewhere... I'm not sure. No one had poping sound after messing with the rear sway bar or the endlinks?

Did you torque the hardware? I'm guessing, but it sounds like it may be a bit under torqued. the bar would warm over a 100 mile trip. (Caused by friction, if loose) The heat will swell metal parts, and the noise will go away...Until things get back to ambient air temperature again.

Re: Poping noise on the endlink? (AirTech)
yes I did torque to 32 lbs when I installed the sway bar because the instruction said 32. But when I got to the steps on HFP suspension it said 29 lbs, so I did leave them at 29 after installing the suspension...

http://www.corsportusa.com/store/catalog/index.php buy their endlinks, will solve ur problems and prevent the monts on the frame from breaking...common problem with aftermarket sway bar.BTW make sure when u installed your sway bar that ur suspension was under load (like jack under control arm)
