Synthetic Motor Oil question?
umm so i went and got a full synthetic oil change today and was wondering cus i got PENZOIL full synthetic.. can i switch over to mobil 1 syntehtic on the next oil change? does it make a difference? and i cant revert to normal oil right?

You CAN switch to Mobil 1, or back to Dinosaur oil without a problem. When synthetics first came out, there were some growing pains. Now there is just a lot of misinformation out there.

there has been misinformation, but i suggest u don't keep switching back and forth between regular and synthethic. As a matter of I recommend picking one kind of oil and staying with that one brand

Honestly i dont think you should be switching back and forth between synthetic and dino.
Pennzoil platinum is a great oil for the price. Shows great wear results in Oil analysis tests.

I should probably clarify what I said. I don't recommend switching "back and forth" between the oils every other oil change.
Once you decide what you're going to use, I would stick with that Brand & type. If you happen to get stuck out in East Jesus while running synthetic, You're low on oil, and all they have is dino oil, run with it. Change when you get back to civilization!
